I know most of us here are mom's to more than one, so I wanted to ask you all how you handled moving from one to two and so on.

The newborn stage in itself is HARD for me, no matter how many kids I have, just a newborn's schedule throws my life upside-down!!

It does get easier, but for me, it's not usually until the baby is about a year old when they don't eat as often, can have table foods, and

Thanks, Jennifer!

It's at least nice to know that I'm not the only one with a house in disarray! I work from home so I feel I get looked at like I should be taking care of the baby and cleaning (and working!) and it should be a piece of cake, kwim?

Are you supposed to shower daily?! LOL

The only way I shower still is with her in the bouncy seat right beside the tub.

And anyone that believes that you CAN do all of that by yourself has NEVER been around a newborn, and so, their opinion doesn't matter. :)

The only people who I care about what they think of my parenting skills are those 4 little ones in my siggy!! I just try to do the best I can each day, and when I do have the bad days I just resolve to start fresh the next day and try again.

Yep! I completely agree. If we can make it through the day without any major disasters, who cares if I stink? ;) The others will just have to get used to it. My husband is gone from 5am until 8:30/9pm - we're lucky if the house is still standing half the time! ;)

It was nice that my sisters (one has an almost 2yo) and my mom came out two hours early on the birthday party day to help out because it was the first party we hosted with two kids. Now I have inlaws coming tomorrow and I'm on my own, lol. Hope they don't expect a clean house. Maybe I'll spritz some pledge around the house and on myself and pretend I slaved at making it look like it does. ;)
