I also had a lack of progression and ended up with a cesarean after three grueling days of labor. Your post sounds very familiar to me! I certainly had aches and pains before, but there was a very sharp pain on one side that I hadn't had until a several days after I got home. We were home after a day and a half, so the timeframe is about the same as yours I think. It felt like I was being stabbed, it was so awful. We called the hospital and they said exactly what PP said… there is nerve damage and it's totally normal. Wish they'd said that before I was discharged!
I spent most of the time in bed, because it hurt so much to be in a sitting position anyway. It still happened several times but only for maybe a week and then life was pretty good after that.
I second the advice to keep up with the pain meds. There's enough to deal with already! I hope you're getting lots of help and support while you can recover so you can concentrate on loving the mess out of your new sweetie. :)
I certainly remember that feeling.
