I had my 3rd c-section on April 3rd and I have skimmed through the pain after c-section and tubal posts and nothing is really like mine. I am having pain after my c-section and tubal. It feels like I have been kicked and punched un my lower abdominal area and occasionally get a stabbing knock the breath out of me pain in my left side right around my hip bone. I know it hasn't been very long, but I don't remember pain like this with my other 2. Is this normal? When does it go away? I am tired of it hurting as much as it does. I have stopped taking my pain meds except occsionally at night so I can lay down. Please help!!

I had a C March 8 and am having some of the same pain you're feeling, like the stabbing pain near the hips. I wasn't SUPPOSED to have had a tubal but I wouldn't have put it past my DR. He was pretty opposed to women being allowed multiple c-sections.

I had an emergency c-section and tubal in December. It was a difficult c-section and they had a hard time stopping the bleeding so I was open for a while and my muscles were spread for a long time. I had the same pain that is typical burning pain. I didn't have any pain near my hips.

It is possible that you still have some air trapped in your pelvis. My air traveled to my shoulder (right side) and I had severe sharp pain there for a week or two.

I hope it is gone by now. Keep us posted.
