Hi, this is my 3rd pregnancy and I had 2 C/S and this one is the most painfully so far. The first one was only till 27th week and than I delivered our daughter Emma who only lived 25 days.

Than we waited 7 months and I got pregnant with our son Sebastian and that pregnancy was more difficult at about? 25th?? I don't know what week but more toward 3rd trimester it started this weird pain/pulling especially in lower abdominal by the pelvic area like someone was stretching the skin for me

I had a lot of pelvic pain with both of my pregnancies...Dr said it was because hormones were making my bones down there soft and pliable so they could stretch to accommodate baby. Biggest help was to not sit down for very long...it put a lot of pressure on my pelvis (laying down as much as possible). Also, there were some birthing techniques we got from childbirth class that helped enormously...My husband puts his hands on my hips a certain way and pushes...immediately removes pressure...Or getting on my hands and knees and rocking helped too.

part of your pain is probably due to scar tissue stretching...unfortunately not a lot you can to about it that I know about (other than taking tylenol). I found there were ways I could stretch where it would pull on that "pulling" I felt so it stretched it on my terms, but...I know my 3rd trimester was easier in that regard because the top of my uterus was stretching rather than the bottom where my scar was.

Hi, thank you for your help. It hurts you know where exactly? well how should I word it so it does not sound nasty :-) in the groin - it' s pulling pretty bad especially on the right side - I am going to the doctors in few weeks so will see. So you are saying it will get better. I just got up and it's hurting pretty bad, usually it starts late afternoon.

Have you been reading my diary? OMG, I can so sympathize with that pain. I had it both pregnancies from first trimester til about 1/2 way thru the second...the worst part was that I worked in a cubicle type job for both of them, so I was in the WORST possible position all the time. I haven't had it as bad this time at work now that I'm a SAHM, but poor you! There were days when it felt like a little man was walking around with a hammer and getting me right in the bone...alternating with the little man walking around with a branding iron attacking my muscles...

Bronia,

I didn't have that kind of pain, but I agree that it sounds like scar tissue stretching. I'm glad that you're under a doctor's close care and would encourage you to see your provider if the pain continues. :) Sorry that you're going through this!
