Post baby nesting?

I realize most of us had gone into labor, even if a tiny bit, prior to the section. I didn't (although I was contracting a bit, but I was never checked to see how far along simply because a) she was breech at every visit and b) my section was scheduled for a week before my due date). Because of this, I don't think I ever nested. :/ I remember nesting like crazy with my son - although he came 13 days early, should have been 18 days early because my water broke and the hospital told me it wasn't my water. Anyway, I went crazy cleaning and decorating with him. This time, I didn't do much. I got things done, but I didn't have the urge to really clean (of course her position had me in a ton of pain to begin with).

But now, now I am on a kick to get things cleaned...like my bathroom closet shelves. I just purged a ton of hair/beauty products and tossed a bunch of other stuff that's been in there for years. (I'm a beauty supply junkie, lol.)

Anyone ever here of this? I'll be 3 weeks PP Friday, but she was due a week after that, so I'll be 2 weeks post due date.

Maybe I'm just weird, lol.

I *thought* was nesting early, but it didn't pan out, ROFL.

I am on a cleaning click though, so I wonder if it's that or I'm finally getting organized. ;)

My son was such an easy pregnancy; he did everything he was supposed to do. Flipped and dropped when he should, came 13 days early, etc. This little one, she was frank breech and transverse the entire time. It got to the point where I'd say to the doctor, "I have no clue if she flipped, I can't tell anymore." LOL I even went to L&D at 31 weeks to get monitored because I was having pains that I couldn't tell what they were. I thought contractions (BHs) but they wouldn't go away when I switched positions or walked. They weren't. It was just her sitting high up and hitting the wrong spot. ;) My doctor said her position definitely was why I was always in so much pain. I thought it was just that I was 10 years older (I was 23 with my son). My mom kept telling me, "You're older now. Of course things are going to hurt differently." I'm glad it wasn't me and it was the baby, lol! And the way she was so comfy-cozy in me... talk about actually having to drag her out of me. ;)

I nested early this past time. By the time I got to the last month, I started having some really bad pain in my hip, and I could barely walk on most days. And since she's been born, if the desire is there, the energy isn't! LOL

I mentioned on another post that my last baby was breech up until 38 wks. And it is a VERY uncomfortable pregnancy. I feel for you, definitely!!!

I'm jealous that you are getting things accomplished though. But, right now all the kids are home cause of Summer Break, and even when I do clean it's trashed again before I can blink an eye!! UGH!!! One day it won't be so hard, right?! LOL
