Becky - I had my 3rd C section on 12/29 and I had that bulge that you were talking about. My incision site still "sticks out" and looks a bit swollen, but it's really going down now.

Congrats to the board and congrats on your recent birth.

It is normal to have some swelling, one side could be more swollen then the other, quite often the doctors seem to have to press or pull on once side or the other to get the baby out so you could for sure be more swollen.

The swelling could last for weeks, and I know I personally do have a bit of a bulge above the incision, but I think its just from lack of ab work, LOL. I'm hoping to get rid of it soon, once I start back at the gym.
