Hi everyone. I am somewhat new to ivillage. I am 31 wks along and have had a previous csection. I'm scheduled for another and am really worried. When i had my DD 2 yrs ago I was living in a different state with my family and had plenty of support and help while i recovered. Now however, I have my 2 yr old, my 5 yr old, and going to have a newborn...but i have no support. My husband is wonderful but has to work 4 days /wk. I'm worried that as soon as i get home I'll be by myself with an incision, and 3 children. This, to me sounds so daunting...anyone been through this or have any words of advice? TIA!

You are smart to start thinking about help. I am very tired when I'm at home with my two kiddos and I had help for the first 2 weeks. I think that the first month will be hard but then you'll settle into a routine. Do you have any friends that your 2 year could have play dates with? That might give you some relief. Also do what you can now to stock up on easy to cook foods, etc. We have a freezer full of casseroles and dinners and it's been awesome!!!
