I just had my 5th section three weeks ago... I can try to help you if you want to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Welcome to the board Wesleysmommy, I'm sure that many other moms would love to hear your experience with your 4th and 5th pgs's and c-section, so when you have a chance please do share your experiences with us.
Again welcome to the board.
welcome to the board, there are several moms on this board who have had multiple c's. mary, firelight1, has just gone in for her 6th c-section, so check out some of her posts on the board.....
here are a few posts on multiple c-s as well.....http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-ppcsection/?msg=7323.1http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-ppcsection/?msg=7189.1http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=iv-ppcsection&msg=7032.1&ctx=16384
hope that helps some, and gives you some hope that many moms have had successful multiple c's. The best thing for you to do however is to find a doctor that will be supportive of you and help you make a educated decision based on risk and stats.
Keep us posted.
I am expecting my #3 having had C sections in 2006 and 2007. (Yeah, they were closely spaced!) I suggest that you talk with your doc about your personal situation. Generally, though, I would say that just simply based upon the numbers that there is no reason that because you've had 3 that you'll not be able to have another. I don't think that there is any "magic" number -- it just sort of depends on how your body heals. If you think that you may want another in the future, I'd woudn't feel pressure to stop simply b/c of the # of Cs that you've had.
