hey I got pregnant with my second child about 9 months after I had my first one (both were delivered via c/s). Both pregnancies were healthy and full-term... the only complaint I had with the second one was that my scar itched pretty bad most of the time. I have known people who have gotten pregnant within a couple of months after a c/s though.
Hope this helps and you're able to get pregnant again soon.
Sorry about your son.

I'm so sorry for your loss!

My doctor asked me if we wanted to start right away or not, and didn't seem too concerned about it. We have not started yet, though not because of the cesarean. FYI if you are eligible/interested in VBAC, individual OBs and midwives usually have limits to how soon they will do them.

I'm so sorry to hear about you loss.

I had a c-section & got pregnant when my little boy was 8 months old.

I also just lost my son in an emergency c-section two weeks ago and we want to TTC soon. In my situation, they delayed the c-section a full hour and my uterus ruptured. However, it ruptured along the scar so I don't think it's much different then another c-section.

5 months after my first C I got pregnant. My Dr was not concerned. 6 months after my second C I got pregnant again. Still no concern....the next two were at 11 months and 13 months (the fifth pregnancy conceived 13 months after the fourth c-section is the one that I lost.)

I don't have a dr right now (I won't see the one that delivered my fifth as he was awful) so I haven't gotten to ask "HOW SOON TO TCC."
