What type of closing did they use?

Ok, my incision, at nearly 5 mos out, is still purplish and slightly raised feeling.
My incision had staples, just like the first one. At this point (nearly five months pp) it is light pink, but darker on the edges. I have two dropoffs, which really really bug me. I didn't have them with my first one, which healed so well that it was virtually invisible by a year. I would say it's 5-6" long. It's a bit tender on the left side but not overly so. I was numb with my first one for six months afterward, which was weird.
This was my fourth surgery, my third abdominal surgery, and my second c-section. I had my gallbladder removed via laparoscopy in 1997 (on my 19th birthday) and I had my wisdom teeth carved out (and I mean this literally, mine were full bony impacted) in 2000. My other c-section was in 2008. But I've got a long way to catch up with my husband, who has had eight surgeries and is scheduled for his ninth in January.

my scar is invisible.

And I'm with you on wondering how that hole was big enough, but you know the other hole ain't very big either. LOLThe closing type I was talking about is stitches, staples, steri strips.
Nope, no stitches then either. Closing type---duh. LOL I'm guessing like yours. I only had a tiny stitch that got removed. It was at the end and it was a loop. I had steri strips until they came off.
I think it's easier to imagine the other hole expanding than the one that is cut, kwim? LOL
