At 9 months PP it is purply-pink and slightly raised with some thicker bumps and irregularities from extra scarring from some stitches from the inside that did not dissolve and decided to get infected and come out through my skin. :/ Not cool. I wish it was prettier and more symmetrical. I don't like it but I don't really dislike it either. It is still numb in some areas up to a half-inch on either side of the scar. I had some searing pain in the first several weeks, but it was more inside than just with the incision. It is still tender though and if I lean against the counter in the bathroom or if LO kicks it (and he LOVES to kick, hard!) it sure hurts. It is more tender at the places where the stitches festered. Ok, I guess I don't like it. It makes me feel very negative. :/
:( I'm sorry.
My kitchen sink is catty-cornered and my Splenda holder is behind it. Sometimes I'll forget and bump my stomach (which is perfect height when I stand on tippy-toes to reach behind the sink). Stars. Nothing but stars. LOL
