Tuesday Talk: Do you use a cream to lesson your scar visibility?

I did not. From what I'd seen/heard/read, they are miminally effective at best. I also did not ever plan on showing off that part of my body. Then there was my own squeamishness about the scar in general. I hated seeing or touching it. It freaked me out. I also had dissolving stitches working their way out for several weeks and it just plain hurt. So I didn't touch it unless I absolutely had to.
