My first baby was a section after a failed induction, which I underwent because they speculated she would be at least a 10 lber if I waited until term.
4 lb and I think 2 oz. It was HELLP syndrome, likely brought on by stress or the improper diet that was the result of stress, and 34 weeks. The good part of it coming on suddenly was that the baby wasn't under stress for long -- that's a very reasonable size for that gestation age. She went under 4 lb during the first few days.
The second kid was full term (almost exactly 40 weeks) and huge at 7 lb 5 oz, natural VBAC. (Have a heart, I'm 5'3" and ought to weigh no more than 120 lb. )
Actually, I went to the last childbirth class while the baby was in NICU. Most of the babies in the NICU were around the same size as mine (I suppose smaller ones were evacuated) but those "normal sized" baby dolls were GIANT.
