welcome to the board. Many women go on to have successful VBAC's, however there are a few factors that will determine your likelihood of it being an option for you.

Since your doctor already told you that you would be a candidate that is a good sign. It would depend on the type of internal and external incisions that were done at the time of the c-section, if VBAC's are available in your community and if you have a doctor that will support a attempt. Providing all the above is available then you would be more likely to be a candidate since the doctors already do know you can successfully have a vag birth.

Definitely talk to your doc and then also visit the VBAc board here on ivillage as well as ICAN the International Cesarean awareness network, they have a resource on the site for finding a doctor in your area that will provide VBAC's.
