Hi ladies,

I wanted to pop in and introduce myself.  I'm Jenni and I just recently found out that I'm expecting my second child.  My first born, Chase, was born via c-section because he was breech.  I'm now seriously considering a VBAC.  I'm wondering- for mamas that had more than one c-section- did you consider having a VBAC at all? I'd love to hear your thoughts and/or reasons for making the decision you made.  Thanks in advance!

WELCOME and BIG CONGRATULATIONS!!!

When is your second baby due?

I've only had one c-section, and it was with my last child and I had a tubal at the delivery, so I REALLY don't plan on having any more deliveries.  LOL

My situation is very different than most people's too in that I had very difficult and traumatic vaginal deliveries that led me to choose a c-section for my final delivery.  So, IF I ever had any more babies that would be my choice again, because MY c-section experience was much better than my vaginal delivery experiences.

However, I definitely think if a VBAC is something you are interested in, you should definitely research it and discuss your options with your doctor.  I do know people who have had a successful VBAC and were very happy with their decision!

Whichever way you choose, GOOD LUCK to you!!  Wishing you a very healthy & happy pregnancy and delivery!!
