i got postpartum support(belly wrap)at BRU but have no idea when can i start using that.it's been 3 weeks after my C-section but my incision is little sensitive if i sit for a long time(not so uncomfortable).i still look 4 months preggo and hate it,i can't suck my tummy in like i did before i got pregnant(don't know why)the area kind of feels numb as if no muscles are there.i want to get rid of this pooch as soon as i can.if anyone used the belly wrap before plz share here also how much it helps and when its it safe to start using that.

Hi Ginny,
I have never even seen a belly wrap myself! *g* As far as getting rid of the pooch, I would say take it easy for at least another 3 weeks and allow your body time for healing on it's own. You don't want to make something worse by overdoing it, kwim?

When your doctor gives you the approval to resume life 'as normal' again, I would start with a cardio regime first, and possibly try Pilates. I am about to start it myself and have heard many good things about it- especially for getting rid of pooches
