Yep! He is stuck that way!

So I have mentioned on here a few times that I have a uterine malformation. It is pretty extreme and I am just glad I can carry a baby to term. But it means that what ever direction my babies settle in by about ... now ... is the position they will be stuck in. There is nothing I or the doctor can do to turn them. So if they are breech then it is c-section road for me! Which is perfectly fine by me.

So anyway this little guy was breech, then he flipped head down for 2 weeks and then he flipped head up again about 5 weeks ago. Well this morning he was putting in a pretty big effort to flip himself back head down. EPIC FAIL! His head is usually very far over on the right side of my uterus because that is the only side of my uterus that is developed enough to grow properly for a baby. Bryan was the exact same way. Well I woke up in a small amount of pain. I looked down at my belly and could see his little round head right smack in the middle of my belly. I just watched for a while and I could see him attempting to turn himself to the left. I could feel his limbs moving around and his legs kicking and his head move a little to the left. And every time he did this is HURT! I could feel sharp pain in the area that divides my left side from my right side of my uterus. He tried several times and it hurt like crazy every time he did it. I started begging him to STOP trying to flip over! You are to big to do it now. You are hurting mommy. KNOCK IT OFF! HA HA HA After about 3 more tries I guess he gave up. He stopped pushing to the left and eventually settled back into the right side of my uterus. Bryan did the same thing at this point in my pregnancy with him but in the opposite direction.

I was waiting for my appointment tomorrow when my doctor is suppose to discuss with me the final decision on c-section or VBAC based on this baby's position. I have known for a while that he was breech. So I have been preparing myself for another c-section. I am actually looking forward to having a scheduled c-section this time around instead of a surprise one like last time. Anyway this boy is stuck head up. He is stubborn like his big brother. And a little slow on the flipping roll. HA HA HA Oh well! I don't mind having another c-section at all. Healthy baby and healthy mommy is all I care about. I just REALLY hope that he doesn't try to flip over again before he is born. That really hurt!

Wow, that's pretty amazing that you can feel him turning like that! I could never tell when my babies flipped to heads down...
