Birth, in any form, should be celebrated, and each one is so special and unique.

I did that once, and then someone reposted it in "celebration" (I think it was the 4th birthday) without asking me.

Yeah, not really nice to preposterous something so personal without permission. I do agree though, it can be healing and liberating to put it out there, in words. I found that writing the story of lo's pregnancy and delivery was very healing and now he'll know everything that happened when he's old enough to read it I'll give it to him.

Multiple problems with the whole thing. As you said, not nice just on the grounds it was reposting without permission. Then after I mentioned that it did not make me happy the lady admitted that she hadn't read it at all (maybe that would have made her think, although the fact that it was most of a month before the official expecting club date

I'm sorry they did that without asking.

I've always wrote out birth stories after my births, but not always on a public forum. I needed to process the information to understand what parts had upset me, and remember the good parts too. It's nice to have them for later when I get to thinking about it again and can't fully remember the details much anymore, and I think it is interesting for the kids to have their full birth stories too.
