How did you find a doc?

I know I'm replying way after your original post, but in case other people are now looking for this info, I thought I'd reply. When I was looking to find a vbac friendly doc, I asked the advice of doulas in my area. They all knew which docs were pro-vbac. In my area there is one doc who is well known for vbacs and they all gave me his name. It seemed like a perfect way to get good info. I was also looking to hire a doula, which is what made all the difference in my successful hospital vbac experience. But even if you aren't, you can call a few and get some info about your local docs and hospitals/ birthing centers. Dona.org is a great place to start.
