Well, let me first say that if you are happy to be pregnant and it turns out that you are, Congratulations! If not and it's something you want for the future, best wishes! Yes, it is possible but may depend on the reasons for the first two, which I would be curious to know, and your ability to find a practitioner who will take you on as a patient.

I am attempting a VBA3C in the next 5-7 weeks. I was unaware that I could try with the third child, since I had had two, it's a great thing that you are asking about it, I so wish I had. It wasn't until this summer, around the time that I found out I was pregnant, that I met a new friend who had three natural births after two c-sections, and the first one even used a vertical incision (most of the time a Dr. will not touch you with that type, because there is a much higher risk of rupture with it). I suggest looking up the statistics on rupture and notice, as I did, that there is VERY little increase of rupture after 2, 3 or even 4 c-section- the record is a natural delivery after 7. A Dr. that my Dr. used to practice with had one after 5.

Your greatest challenge, I will warn you, will be finding a Dr. who is open and supportive of allowing your body do what it is made to do. It takes a lot of trust and as I suggest with all of my posts, Natural Child Birth classes are priceless, even if you end up needing another c-section. I am praying everyday that it works out and I am able to deliver naturally so that I can educate and encourage others who have had 1, 2 or even 3 previous c-sections. Surgery and recovery is something I dread and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Alright, getting off my soap box now. I wish you the best and hope you find the support you need in your community and here on this board.
