So... I succeeded in getting pregnant (I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow), I went to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland (Ohio) for my first appointment yesterday. the doc said no, he would not allow a VBAC after 2 Cesarean's (shameful because he was very nice), so i'm contacting ICAN of Greater Cleveland later today in the hope that they can help me find a VBAC friendly provider, in the meantime if anyone has any suggestions for a Lorain/Cuyahoga County area VBAC friendly provider

I'm sorry your dr won't vbac. You may want to call your local hospital l and d unit. Ask one of their nurses if the hospital allows vbac and if so, which of their drs has the best vbac success rate. Let us know what you find out.

:y)It's absolutely okay! I contacted ICAN, they gave me advice on a few docs at my current practice (at least one of whom will attempt VBAC after more than 1 CS!!) The sad thing about Metro is that it's a large teaching/tertiary care hospital with an excellent VBAC success rate, so it's really a shame that more of the doc's aren't open to VBAC :-( So I'm contacting one of these doctors and going for my VBA2C :-)
