I have researched VBAC thoroughly and I am fully aware of risks vs benefits and such. My questions are more specific. I had a cesarean with my first child. Its a really long story but basically it was scheduled with no TOL because of doctor's recommendations. My second child was stillborn due to Anencephaly via induced VBAC at 20 weeks 6 days. I am now preg again, 23 weeks, and now having a clean bill of health for LO am planning to VBAC again.
So here are my questions, you may not be able to answer but it doesn't hurt to ask right?
I know your chances at a successful VBAC are better the second time around, but does that apply to highly premature births as well?
Since I have never gone into labor *naturally* will I still qualify like a FTM when it comes to my body going into labor (in other words am I likely to go overdue like a FTM) or having labored will my body be more like a 2nd time mom in terms of when I will go into labor? I ask because I worry about going too overdue and having to have an RCS since my doc has already said that he won't induce a full term VBAC... which he shouldn't.
Should I expect any difference with this next VBAC than what would be expected in your avg. 2nd time VBAC?
I know not getting an epi helps my chances of having a successful VBAC. For those who chose to go pain med free was there anything that helped esp well to deal with labor pain?
Finally, I have been having quite a bit of pain that no test has identified a cause for. I have noticed a great deal of pain is in the region of my prior scar. Did any of you feel these pains? I have also noticed these pains happen most often when baby is active. Could my scar be sensitive to his movements and thus be the source of my pain?
