Not all women who have had cesareans have VBAC fears when they're pregnant again, but many do. Maybe that describes you. Once you recognize your own VBAC worries, you'll need some strategies to help you cope with your concerns so that you remain positive and focused on your goal of a successful birth experience. Here are five suggestions that have worked for thousands of women who have had VBACs, some even after multiple cesareans.

That seems to be a common one. It wasn't my issue because I never got to labor with #1 -- I figured just starting was a triumph however it turned out. OTOH, if you go into labor naturally (and inducing a VBAC is now generally considered a bad idea) you'll know that the baby is ready to be born, and labor itself is considered to be good for the baby.

I think mine is that I won't be able to do it.  That I'll get through labor and then when it comes to delivery, it won't happen and I'll end up with a c-section anyway...
