vbac for me?

Hello all I am pregnant with my third baby, I am currently 10 weeks pregnant. I am considering a vbac for this pregnancy however I am nervous about it. My first child was a vaginal delivery that was pretty uncomplicated just long but not uncommon for a first child. My second delivery was a scheduled csection for breech presentation, I was uncomfortable attempting the internal eversion? (can't remember if that is what it is called , you know where they try and turn the baby.) Anyway uncomplicated delivery as well except I was in labor when I arrived at the hospital that day which was painful, the postop period was very painful, very painful. Perhaps I have a low tolerance for pain but I hurt for at least three weeks afterwards. My son did not have any complications either healthy happy baby.

If you've already had one vaginal delivery, you're a good candidate for a vbac. I waffle back and forth all the time whether or not to continue pursuing one...Good luck either way....let me know what the ob says :)

My appointment went well with the OB today. She asked me if I wanted to try for a vaginal delivery!! That's when I knew I picked the right doctor. I am so happy, I think I am really going to try to do this, I think I can do it. It is my third baby my first delivery was pretty easy so I don't see why this one will not be. I would gladly take a few hours of pain rather than weeks of postop pain. I am confident that I can do this and I am happy I have made this decision.

After my c-section I did the whole completely-unmedicated bit in order to maximize my VBAC chances.
