I have a few questions for you if that is okay? Dh and I are always talking about moving. We moved here because Mil and SFIL moved here after he graduated highschool. We had just gotten out of the Navy and had a baby, and were wanting to be around family. Now, we are older and wiser, and our families aren't exceptionally helpful. We would love to move somewhere where the cost of living is cheaper. You live in Arkansas right? Do you like it? Where are the good places to live? How much are houses around you? We currently have a 4bd 2b 2112sqft house, and would want something similar. Do you have any idea what a house like that would go for in your area? Any info would be great! Bryanne

Lauren, I think we would probably like NC! We used to be in SC when we were in the Navy. I am just not sure the cost of living is

Accidentally pushed post. Anyway, not sure the cost of living is low enough for us to make the move. I'll check in to it just for you though :)

Yeah Jenn, I think anywhere in the NE is out. Plus, we would love to get an acre or 2, and I can imagine that it would be alot harder up there, and much more expensive.

i personally think nc has a very low cost of living! should be very similar to sc but its all in what counties and cities you live around too.

i live in the triad (greensboro, winston salem, high point) but check out northern davidson county. they have the best schools and its right on the edge of my town which is 20 minutes from two cities that have a lot of stuff to do. the taxes there are way cheaper than my county but im only 10 minutes from the line. so its in the "country" but still convenient to cities and things to do.

also we are an hour from charlotte, an hourish from raleigh, 3.5 hours from myrtle beach or 2 hours from the mountains depending on which part you want to go.

Conway is a really great area(I would go for the smaller towns surrounding it like Greenbrier or Villonia). They're in central AR. On the NW side cost of living is higher bc of constant growth, but it's really beautiful over there. I'm on the NE side of the state. I think Jonesboro is really a nice place to live. My dad
grew up there. As far as southern AR, I love Hot Springs. :)
