Any plans for this week?

Home again...back to the routine!  Well, sort of routine.  I am feeling somewhat better now with my medication but it doesn't seem to start working until later in the day to rid me of my polymyalgia symptoms...stiffness and aching shoulder and hip joints.  So I am not exactly resuming an active lifestyle for my morning hours anyway.

But it sure was a nice respite from everyday life to be on our little trip to Yuma and San Diego.  Ray went back to work today and so here I am back to being alone for the most part - at least most days unless I make a point of getting out there to do something.  I have my walking club sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I'm looking forward to resuming that - although I may not be walking very quickly yet and maybe not that far either.  I have to see how I feel come Tuesday morning.

The sun is shining but it's still rather chilly here and there's still snow around, of course.  We got a new thin layer of it on the weekend to add to what we already have.

What have you got planned for this week?  I've got a bone density test on Wednesday.  Otherwise nothing much except my walking club sessions.  I wish I had more to tell, but not a lot  has been happening since our arrival home on Friday.

Nothing on the schedule aside from the normal.  We talked about seeing Lincoln over the weekend but didn't so maybe will see it during the week.

No big plans here either.

Today we took Adam to see the family dr-just a regular check-up. She does not know why he is having so many episodes when we need to use Nitroglycerine-but she said if it works, to keep using it. He can go days just fine-then suddenly for days, he becomes quite gray & clammy-on Saturday he had 3X. But nothing since. There is definitely deterioration in his health.

Tonight we are hunkered down for a probable winter storm-possibly 10cm of snow tonight & more snow mixed with rain tomorrow. Of course, Tuesdays he usually goes to Community Living-& so do I-but we've discussed the chances of staying home & we'll just wait to see what happens.

It should be cleared up by Friday-which is when I have to see the dr about my headaches. So if I am home until then-so be it. I have lots of yarn to knit, books to read, material to sew & lots of food & firewood. BUT-if it is as bad as 'they' say it will be...I surely do hope it is the last storm of the season. Enough already!

So it is not a busy week-& it may be a very quiet week if we are at home for a few days waiting for the storm to blow itself out. Nora

Nothing exciting this week - I'll admit I'm one of the people sucked into the Jodi Arias case so I've spent waaaay too much time on that lately, and probably will continue til it ends.  Otherwise it's still pretty chilly here so not much outside work; just volleyball Wednesday night at the Y and dh starts his next MBA class.  DS is back in school for the 2nd half of the semester so we probably won't see him much for a while again.  He has a portfolio review coming up that he's extremely nervous about so I've been trying to offer he come by for meals, etc. to provide whatever help I can as he preps. He's trying to find something in his field for the summer and switch locations to lifeguard (different Ys) to be closer to the condo. Hoping all that goes well for him!
