Bad way to start the weekend

Yesterday I was leaving the bank after depositing my check and was hit.  Neither I or the occupants of the other car were injured.  Their car had very minor damage, my car probably hates me becuse it has a major boo boo.  The front bumper will have to be replaced and some damage to the hood.

You're right-that is a very bad way to begin any day, but especially a bad way to enter a weekend! Hopefully your car can be repaired without too much trouble or inconvenience to you! Sending "Get Well Soon" wishes to the Car.

That IS a bad way to start your weekend. Good that you were not hurt. Hope that your car can be repaired quickly...can it be driven in the meantime or did it have to be towed?

Do you have to report the accident to the insurrance company? Sometimes it is worth paying for the repairs yourself, instead of dealing with increased insurrance costs.

Bad start for the weekend.. hope the rest of the weekend is better for you.

Definitely look into paying for the repairs yourself. This past summer, DD hit something and broke the mirror on my minivan. It wasn't that expensive to fix, but the increased cost of insurance would have been pretty bad.

Too much damage to take care of ourselves.  We also do that for more minor issues.   I did drive it home because it was only about 3 miles but it is not really driveable.    Every thing is in place to get it taken care of.   I got a rental car, on Mon they are going to tow mine to the repair shop.  So far their is no indication of interal damage so hopefully it can be fixed and not totaled.
