Stay safe. It must be scary to see all this happening so close to home.

Take Care

Very disconcerting to say the least.  It's all that's on every channel. (it's about 20 miles from us)

I figure you were not living very close to the area but 20 miles is close enough. It's on the news here but not as much as CNN coverage.Sometimes I think CNN makes things worse with all their "experts".

Hope everything settles down soon.

Take care.

itea, I agree with you about CNN and the other cable news channels. They're trying to broadcast news 24/7 and there's often not anything "new" to report so they belabor the point in an existing story. And sometimes turn rather sensationalist IMO with a crisis mentality. I haven't watched them for any Ferguson coverage so maybe this time is different...but probably not.

Nope, no difference... The coverage is full of  language that is well, inflamatory.  CNN is acting like it is a state of war. I understand that it is a serious situation but maybe if CNN would cool the language, the situation would be better., Every little thing is "breaking news" and the opinions of the "talking heads-experts" and people on the street is "Breaking News".
