...on our calendars to March. A few things are coming up: daylight savings time starts on Sunday March 10 in most of North America, St Patrick's Day on the 17th, the Vernal Equinox occurs on Wednesday March 20, and Passover and Easter occur on the 26th and 31st respectively.

What do you have going on this month?

I looked at our March page-& it's one I think I'd like to pass over-head straight for April. It seems to be full of appointments-Adam has to have bloodwork & then a 24hr Holter Monitor on Monday. He had to stop using the meds for arrythmias with the seizures-so he needs to be sure they aren't happening. And his bloodwork tends to be wonky just from being sick so long. So that is this week, then he sees the Cardiologist next week for results. And the family dr later in the month. Add to that a dentist for me, a couple of appointments for Mike-& we're going to be on the road a LOT.

But, hopefully, the snow will begin to melt & stay melted-enough already. I want to see bulbs coming up-flowers to cheer my wintery soul!

My little grow-light spot is almost ready to begin with the seeds. Once we get them started I can begin to plan my garden & it's expansion. Traditionally Spring is when I get the urge to re-decorate something-in fact a certain dh has been known to make snide comments about how much work Spring means to him. But I ignore it all-& go ahead with my plans, sometimes it works, sometimes it does not-we'll see!

Not much here - ds will have spring break but will likely spend it hanging with his new gf vs. spending time here. DH works the next 3 Saturdays; I have lunch with a friend two of those. DS will finally have an appt with a geneticist to see if his pain is something besides fibromyalgia - honestly I hope not. I have a ton to get through at work this month. Other than that hoping the weather gets nice enough to get to walk more outside; as much as I do enjoy snow, I don't like ice!

The beginning of the month will be a little busy. I'm working on the personal taxes, and we'll be having company next weekend--so I'd better clean the house. My ds arrives on Friday night to attend a weekend wedding, and he will be staying with us. Shirley and Ray arrive on Saturday so hopefully they can meet ds. On Sunday the four of us will go hiking in the desert if everybody is feeling up to it. Not ds, he's just using us as a free hotel that weekend!

I have my watercolor class on Wednesdays, except for the last Wed of the month due to Spring Break. It will also be spring break for my dd, and she's hoping to come to CA for the week and do a road trip with her bff. If she can afford to make the trip we'll get to see her for a day or two.

So far, that's all that's on my calendar.

Our big event this month is our trip to Yuma and San Diego!  We'll be visiting with friends in Yuma, and also Elspeth and Enrique in S.D.!  We leave here on Tuesday, March 5th, and return on March 15th.  We fly down to Phoenix, rent a car and zoom around from there to our various destinations.  I'm looking forward to it.  All I can hope is that my medication for my joint pain will work optimally for me so I can really enjoy my time there.

Otherwise, I have appointments this month.  Shortly after our return home, there's a bone density test appointment.  Hmmm... I can't recall when I see my rheumatologist again.  And somewhere near the end of the month I think I have to have a blood test for the rheumatologist.  March 27th is my birthday - no specific plans for that - I don't want a party but a family meal on a Sunday before or after the date will be nice.  Susanne will herself be coming back from a trip to visit her friend in San Francisco, on my birthday, actually.  I said I'll pick her up from the airport that day and she can stay overnight here.  Not sure, but I think a friend of hers will drive in to bring her home the next day.

Now I really must go and get some clothes into my suitcase!

March is a busy month, DD's birthday was yesterday but we won't celebrate for a couple of weeks due to scheduling. DH's birthday is on Good Friday this year so that will add to the holiday weekend at the end of the month. I have a couple of appts to take my parents too this mth & DH has a physical with our new dr. We will also have Noah for 4 or 5 days during his Spring break. I have a retirement lunch next Wed for a friend & so will head into Toronto on Tues to visit DD then stay overnight. We are in our final weeks of curling & I am finally starting to get the hang of it. Hopefully we will do some of their summer activities to provide some social life. Apparently we live across from several other curling members & so there is an active outdoor life with 4 pm wine parties on the docks. Dee
