Here it is Friday again, what do you have planned for the next few days? Will the weather allow you to enjoy the outdoors at any point this weekend? Tell us what you will be doing.

Will not be doing much outside, the temps will be good in the 70's but rain/thunderstorms projected for all weekend.

We will spend our time nursing DD2 who have surgery yesterday.  Aside from a grocery shopping trip probably on Sunday I don't think we will even leave the house.

This is a "company" weekend for me. Ds and his gf flew into town last night and are staying here (well, she may move over to her mom's house but stayed here last night). They are here for a wedding and will spend much of the time in activities related to it, but we hung out last night and this morning for a while. They fly back north on Sunday evening.

On Saturday afternoon Shirley and Ray will arrive. We don't have set plans yet on what to do with them, besides taking them to our favorite Mexican restaurant unless they're already tired of Mexican food LOL (there are lots of Mexican eateries in the southwest).

Sunday is supposed to be a nice day but today is rainy, so far we've had a few heavy downpours and some "hail" (supposedly we don't get true hail here, we get graupel). By Saturday the rain should be gone but it will still be in the mid-50s. As Shirley crosses the local mountains she will probably see a lot of snow--so much for escaping winter weather! Fortunately it is supposed to warm up to 70F on Sunday and beyond so they will get some nice weather while here.

I have been confused all day thinking it is Sat. DS2 & fiancee came up yesterday & leave tomorrow. They normally show up fri night hence my confusion with the days. It's supposed to be a bit warmer tomorrow with lots of sun. I'm hoping that is true as we are having problems with snowmobilers. The lot next door was blocked off on Mon & it has been the snowmobile path from the lake for years. The owners are upset about something & so put up metal stakes blocking the roadway. Now people are going over our property instead. They choose to ignore the private property signs. I won't mind so much but they are scratching up the driveway when they run out of snow. So we are going to take advantage of the warmer weather & shovel the snow from our double gates so we can close them. It will be a pain to manually open & close when we go out but it's better than having to resurface the driveway in the spring. On Sunday we will pick up Noah. He will be spending part of his Spring break with us. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend. Dee

Weird weather here - low 50s today, low 60s tomorrow, upper 50s and storms Sunday, possible snow Monday...

Having lunch with a friend tomorrow. Hoping to see Oz Sunday at an old theater with dh and maybe ds (on spring break).  DS isn't 'into' his new gf; still has strong feelings for the one who dumped him unexpectedly in the fall, so hoping to at least see him a bit and try to provide an outlet while he's off this week.

I feel like the "sludge" on the board-we certainly aren't doing anything on the weekend. It is warming up(above 0C during the day-but only a couple degrees)so the snow is melting. But very slowly-so except when I go out with the Pugs, we don't go outside much. In desperation-I may try shovelling some of the snow off the deck-just to get rid of it!

But Mike finished my little grow-station in the basement. I have seeds to try planting in peat pellets, & I will work there on the weekend.

I was feeling full of self-pity earlier in the week because so many of our friends & neighbours are going away for March break-& of course, we cannot (with Adam). But I got over that-I guess we make choices & we chose to bring him here, & except for making travel impossible (& who knew that would happen?)he's a good kid.

You have my sympathy Dee-we used to allow the snowmobilers in the area to use our trail to get onto the lake-but a few too many 2am machines on the lawn(which is nowhere near the trail, a few too many going onto the lake when it was too thin to be safe-& we've blocked off access now. Too bad a few ruin it for everyone else! We have No Trespassing signs here & at the lake, & have closed off access-too bad because it is like most small lakes in that it is surrounded by private property.

Adam's community Living does not close for March Break-so he will go on Tuesday, & so will I. Before that though-he has an important appointment with the Cardiologist on Monday. Hopefully we can figure out why he's been having these episodes when he needs the Nitroglycerine spray.

So the weekend will be quiet.
