Hey Amanda,
things are going well. The twins were born 04.04.06. I was 36.5 weeks, I had a c-section since Baby A (the girl, Elle) flipped breech at 34 weeks. I had a date scheduled of 04.03.06 for about a week and then at 8pm the night before my doctor called, he was sick so we bumped it another day. I really did not want to have a section but it all went well. I felt great and was driving/grocery shopping ect... within a week. My only regret was not staying the fourth night at the hospital. One more night of rest would have been nice. The twins came home with me, no NICU. They were 6lbs 1oz 19 inches and 7lbs 21 inches.
Our older son, Jack, was super colicky for the first six months so these two are a dream compared to him. It was good to have him first, I thought all babies needed to be bounced on an exercise ball to go to sleep. These two will doze off anywhere. Jack was late (42 weeks), 9lbs 10 ozs and an unmedicated natural birth so I have had two very different experiences. Jack is doing pretty well with it all. He is getting tons of attention. His corner of our living room has exploded with toys since everyone who visits brings something for him. The only time he gets clingy is in the evening when I am holding a baby.
It has been interesting I try not to think about the fact I am changing 25 diapers a day. I just kinda roll with it. I have to admit it is much easier so far then I expected. I wasn't sure how many gosee/auditions I'd make it to with all three. Our Ped was not too keen on the twins doing any work before 6 weeks so we are really just starting to get into things now. Hopefully I'll have some good news to post about one of them getting something soon.
I'd love to post pictures if I knew how... They are so cute! Hope things are going well for you and the boys!

Hi Leah-

I was just wondering how things are going? I don't think I responded to everything in this post in the email I sent you :) I think if you don't have the upgraded membership that you have to put your pictures on a site like photobucket and then post the link. If you don't want to post them on here you can email me...I would love to see them :) My sister just found out yesterday that she is expecting a boy and a girl. She is so thrilled! She is probably naming them Austin and Addison. I love it!!! Anyway, let us know what you've been up to. Your post made me chuckle a little about your twins being easier than Jack because I have to say I have had a much more difficult time w/ Brock than I did with the boys. He is way more of a handful than the two of them were together!!! Most moms think I'm crazy for saying that but it is the honest truth!!!

Hope to chat with you soon :)

Hi Amanda,
things are going well! Twins are 12 weeks today. Thanks for checking in. I don't think I received your email. I get so much junk in my hotmail acct. I tend to miss the good ones. Thats great news about your sister. Do you live close so that you can help. Tell her to check out the book "ready or not here they come" by Elizabeth Lyons. When is she due?
Here are a few pics of the twins and their big brother. I have yet to get anything of the three of them together. Jack is not too interested in getting close to them. He just turned 18 months and doesn't quite understand them yet. I upgraded my acct so that I could post pics and it turns out my files are too big. Here are some links to photobucket. Hope this works...

All three are adorable but I must say that the picture of your son sucking his sister's finger is the cutest!
Congrats and enjoy them all
