Seasons in S. Fl?

Hi, I just found this site. It doesn't seem too active though so not sure if I'll get an answer. We are new to the modeling thing. Just wondering about seasons here in S. Fl. My DS is 5 and just signed with agency last month. I haven't received any calls yet for anything. Is that normal or should I assume clients may just not like his look? Personally I would rather not be too busy with my work schedule but doing nothing at all really stinks too. Is it just not busy right now or are we just not getting requested, or whaever you call it- lol. Do you just sit back and wait? Do you call agent after a certain time? Thanks for any replies.

As far as I know, the season here started in September and my grandchildren have been on some casting calls since then.

Things will gradually get busier throughout the Fall--Oct. is pretty busy, November even busier, and December even more so, up to about Dec. 15th or so.

Wow, thanks for the replies. Glad to see this forum is not totally asleep! I think he's with a reputable agency. I've heard good things about her. (Karen Greer). That's why I met with her first. She seemed straight forward. I never met the other one I heard back from. (I sent his pics to 3 and heard back from 2). Anyhow, he is almost 6 and wears a 5 mostly. I appreciate the feedback. I think I'll just sit back and wait. If I don't hear during the busy season, I'll take the hint-lol!!

We've heard really good things about Karen as well.
