Anyone use Amazon for textbooks?

Just curious.  I tried their textbook rental service last semester, and it went well.  I'm a person who likes to keep textbooks as a reference, so I only did the rental with a course that I didn't feel like I would want/need to reference much down the line.  It probably saved me $40, and they made returning the book very easy.

I've used Amazon for my textbooks over the last 3 semesters.  I've purchased the books and have had no problem.  The prices were a lot lower than what the college bookstore charged for the same books!

I have used it in the past for textbooks and had great results, both buying and selling my textbooks and I will encourage my daughter who's off to college this fall to use it as much as possible also.

I have used Amazon in the past to purchase textbooks. They were much cheaper (and one class the professor didn't even bother giving his order to the official bookstore because he knew Amazon would be cheaper). I've never returned textbooks to them or rented them. I've actually never rented textbooks, lol. I prefer to keep them, even if I don't think I'll use them again. I guess you could call me a "book hoarder".

Yes! I think there's a couple other sites for good/cheap textbooks too but I can't think of them right off the top of my head.. I've searched and found books and a refurbished calculator I needed for upper level math classes on ebay too.
