Happy weekend

Hi, everyone. Yep...working!

I feel like I need a spa day. My new class starts next week, and I'm stressed that we have NO spring break this year and go straight through to end end of August. Yikes.

I've never actually gone to a spa because I'm VERY cheap when it comes to spending money on myself, but man, some of those spa menus look SO good. Facials...reflexology..I think I could use all of that right now! Has anyone else had a day spa experience?

I have never done a whole spa day but parts. It does seem like a lot but wow is it nice to get even one thing.

Last night I went to a shower/dinner party that was lots of fun. We are just watching some Olympics stuff tonite.

Happy weekend everyone,

Never done the spa thing, don't think I'd like it. I actually get
"nervous" when someone even washes my hair. I had a guy who did an impromptu scalp message last time I got my hair cut...I felt SO creepy and uncomfortable having a stranger rub all over me! Did NOT like it! So I don't think I'd like a message or facial.

So, survived my run today! I almost chickened out, woke up with a really upset stomach. But adrenaline kicked in and stomach was fine during the face. I did pretty good, I played it conservative the first 3 miles because I wasn't sure if I could even finish, but I ended up feeling really good and strong the second half, like I could have pushed harder. But I just didn't know. I finished in about 62min, my original goal (before getting sick) was under 60...so not too far off, but I think I probably could have done it. Oh well, playing it safe and making sure I could finish was a good strategy.

I need to really get on my bio homework tonight.

Jason has to go into work tomorrow - ugh. For me it will be the start of the crazy studying for my chem exam on Tuesday.

Here's me at the finish of my run (actually, about 30 min after finishing...took that long for me to find dh and the kids, 13,000 runners!)

My MOH/cousin took me a few days before my wedding to a spa. I got reflexology and a massage. It was a good experience, well worth the money. I think you just need to find a place with a good reputation!
