Its a rainy day here, supposed to last ALL day. I haven't decided yet if I will go to the gym and run on the treadmill or if I will do spin class tonight. Probably spin since I hate the treadmill SO much.

I'll have to drive the kids to school, then come home and study. I'm going to try and alternate between chem and bio all day long...5-10 chem problems, 30 min bio, repeat.

Did not get nearly as much done yesterday as I needed to. Dh was supposed to work from about 8-10am. Nope, didn't get home till 3:30. Which figures, but he PROMISED it would only be 2 hours because he knew I had a lot of studying to do. The kids fought all day like insane animals - the screaming, crying, etc. was ridiculous. I couldn't get anything done with them here, and none of the stuff dh usually does on the weekends got done, like laundry. So finally around 1pm I threw my hands up and started laundry, did some cleaning, went to the gym, etc. So now I have no idea how I am going to get caught up on the studying.

I guess he is working on something big. Your dh seems like a very hard worker.

Today I am doing some work stuff/paperwork this am and then off to the gym.

Right now I am enjoying the quiet of the house.

It was just an install, but it had to be done by Monday and none of the guys would stay late Friday to finish it. Then, two who were supposed to show up yesterday didn't, so it was just dh and one other guy. He's probably firing 3 people today.

I don't get it. With this economy and so many people complaining about not being able to get a job, why don't people care about KEEPING the jobs they have? In the last year I can't believe how many people dh has had to fire for things like not showing up, lying about where they are, refusing to come in when needed or stay late, etc. Just poor performance and irresponsibility. I think half our unemployment rate is just because people don't have the same work ethic now that they used to! Dh has more jobs open than people to fill them, because he can't find QUALITY people.

One guy actually told dh: "I'll only come in Sunday if you give me a raise" HELLO! You should come in on Sunday FIRST, later, remind your boss of all the times you've come in on Sunday, THEN ask for a raise. Not THREATEN your boss? So yeah, he's gone today LOL!

Morning! Today starts a busy week for school. Two papers & 2 midterms to finish & study for plus trying to get work projects done in between. It will feel good to get this week over with!

DH is on my nerves & really contributing to my stress while I'm trying to get school work done. His negativity really gets to me sometimes and I'm not really sure if he's always been that way or just over time. I'm naturally positive so it really wears on me & I don't want the kids adopting that attitude.

I suggested he drive to St. Louis for his brother's game this weekend. He's telling me he can't which I find hard to believe because he's about glued to anything related to the games here.

Is his brother a prof. athlete ?

Sometimes my dh is the glass half empty guy. Really annoys me. He is getting better since I have given him ongoing feedback about this but it can be hard as the spouse.

I find after school/dinner time is unofficial "crap on Mom" time. Everyone is tired and they always feel the need to tell what they don't like about dinner. I have told them (including dh) I do not want to hear it !

Hope you feel less stressed.

Well, I'm in class right now. I've got all my work done for the day, so I thought I'd waste some time and come online. I just took a test and I think I did well on it but I guess I'll see on Wednesday.

The rest of my day will be having lunch, putting Madison down for a nap, having some down time for myself and then making dinner. Sounds like fun!
