Even Harry Potter's Emma Watson had problems juggling school and work.

the hardest thing is getting off hold again. It's easy to miss deadlines for applications when you aren't there. it's super hard to start again. I don't recommend hold for anyone if they can avoid it. Better to take 1 class at a time, if you can afford to, than to stop.

My education was on hold more than once. First time, I went to college for a year right out of high school, took time off to have my 1st baby, then went back when he was 6 months old. Education on hold again when I had my second baby and it took me 14 years to go back! I was gonna go on hold again this year but knew if I stopped, I wouldn't start again. I did end up having to take 5 months off, and that was hard to go back. It's hard to be poor and put off working and making money, too

I had to put my schooling on hold recently due to health reasons, but now that my health is back on track I am ready to get back to school.
I do know that come winter term I will be forced to take as many classes as I can online due to not being able to deal with the cold and wet that we get up here in Oregon, that just unleashes the R.A. Monster in all his not so Glory. (RA =Rheumatoid Arthritis.)

I started school at 17 and at 25 I'm still a few semesters shy of my BA. My husband is in the Army so numerous moves, having a child and life have forced me to put school on hold a few times. I often think about how far I could be now had I not put everything on hold so many times but I know there must be a reason. I actually feel like I appreciate my education more at 25 than I ever did at 17 or 18.

How many more semesters do you have until graduation?

I'm 20 and have a 10 month old. I dropped out before I had him and haven't gone back since. I would love to go back but, only working at Starbucks and paying for all of his needs, I can't go back just yet. I wish I could find scholarships that I could apply for but, all the sites I went to made me fill out so much stuff that I just didn't want to give out to some random site.
