Studying, studying, studying.

I finally went to the doctor yesterday, the sinus pressure was so bad I was almost throwing up from the pain. They gave me a Z-pack, allegra D and prednisone. I took my first dose of the antibiotics yesterday and I am already feeling a lot better. I'm still congested, but the excruciating pressure/sinus pain is GONE. I'm not taking the prednisone, I HATE steriods and don't really want to deal with the weight gain/swelling, etc. I did take an allegra D a couple hours ago (I HATE decogestants too because they always end up backfiring and making it worse, but I'm giving that a shot) Its working pretty well, but making me a bit jittery, so we'll see.

Just took a study break to go out to lunch with dh and the kids, now back to studying for bio, and have to take a math quiz in a bit.

It's Sunday, so I'm working until 8pm. Though I did take a break to eat our vegetarian chili and my homemade cornbread. I'm not a big fan of televised sports, so this is me tipping my hat to the Superbowl! I may watch a few minutes of it later.

Since I work from 8a-8p on Saturdays and Sundays, I generally don't have much to report in terms of an exciting weekend.

Tomorrow, I'm going back to the chiropractor for another adjustment and I am SO happy. This guy is awesome! I have a couple of herniated discs in my back (injured in high school doing one lousy season of track!), and I've had pain on and off for about 20 years now. I've been to a few chiropractors to treat it, and it usually works for a while, but the pain generally comes back within a few weeks. This is the first time I've actually had no back pain in...I can't even remember. Yay!
