Being Bilingual Helps Children Think Creatively

I know that the topic of bilingual children being excellent problem solvers has been brought up before, but I found another article on it: http://www.pressconnects.com/article/20120809/NEWS01/308090053/Study-Bilingual-children-excel-problem-solving-creative-thinking
In addition to be very good problem solvers, bilingual children have been found to be more creative thinkers. I think this is a different study too.

Makes a lot of sense.
Now of course that could explain why the Idnian school system is pressurizing parents to speak only English to their kids, this is a school system that has no place for free thinking and creativity...I actually find it frightening, kids are supposed to gobble up the teacher's words, take them as truth and not question anything :-(
