Branson Pt 3- We're in heaven!!!

After we ate, we headed on down the road to Branson. For some reason, the address for the The Village at Indian Point wouldn't come up on our GPS so I just put in Indian Point and we found it no problem (plus I had some directions I had printed off the confirmation email I had gotten). On the way in, I was kind of keeping an eye out for the Welcome Center because that is where I needed to go to pick up the Dixie Stampede tickets I had ordered. I decided I'd just get them later, so no worries. When we arrived at the Village, I was really excited. The waterfalls (3 of them!) were all lit up. Plus they had white twinkly lights strung around the area too. Our hotel key was in an envelope taped to the front door of the lodge. We grabbed it and saw that we were in Lodge 17, Condo #2. It wasn't too far from the Lodge and we headed straight there. Since it was dark, I didn't take any pics but it was a nice log cabin look. When we walked into the condo, we were blown away!!! It was so beautiful. It was much nicer than anything I was expecting based on the pictures we'd seen on their website and I don't think my pics do it justice either. But here they are:

Oh I LOVE your condo!!! I bet you had a wonderful time there. :)

I was LMAO over the mental pic I was getting with the jetted tub! Well, I bet your kids don't forget THAT lesson-fill the tub first. LOL

LOL Kim, it was too funny but man what a mess it was! Every single thing got soaked, including both kids and Brian.

You know Tawnya, I honestly didn't feel like it was that expensive either. Because we had five people, we needed somewhere that would sleep that many and the regular hotels were not much cheaper for a jr suite so I think we got a great deal. The only thing is, you don't know what kind of decorating you are going to get because they are individually owned. I think the people who owned the one we stayed at were from Kansas and they must have been either a pilot or an engineer. But I was very impressed and I do too get kind of tired of eating out on vacation. Sometimes you just want "real" food. But we ate every breakfast and almost every lunch in the condo and then we ate out for dinner except the night I cooked a steak dinner on the grill.

OOOH my - that jet story is hilarious! We have one of those tubs and when the M&Ms were little they pushed the button not knowing what it did - it's funny now, but at the time it freaked the heck out of them. I laughed hard thinking of what you walked in on. What a memory. :)

Where you walked down to Table Rock - could you rent boats/jet skis down there?

The pictures look gorgeous.

You know, our area was private and no, there were no boat rentals around there but the other pic that I posted was a different lake or part of the lake. I am kinda fuzzy on that since it was on the other side of the road but I am thinking it still might have been Table Rock, but that looked a lot more promising as far as rentals and there are tons of things there so I would bet money that there are close rentals. I remember telling Brian that we could rent a boat in June and him saying "no thanks, I'd rather fish from the banks" so I must have seen something about boat rentals. Sorry I'm not that much help on this one.
