Thursday morning we slept in again- I could get used to this! When we got up, Brian was really tired. He had stayed up studying for his class and wanted to sleep longer. So Mom and the kids and I all got ready and we left to go shopping. Branson has several outlet malls! One of the brochures I had picked up had a coupon for a coupon book, lol! So we went to that mall and I went over and got the coupon book (which they sell for $5) and we started at one end and walked the whole mall! Donovan was not overjoyed and I think he would have been happy to stay back at the condo and watch cartoons, but I really wanted him with me so I made him come. He whined until I bribed him with fudge! That is another thing they have a lot of in Branson- fudge shops. We were at the Tanger Mall. Here is the link for this mall so you can see all the stores:
We hit B & BW's, there is a camping store, and several others. Then we went into Izod. That store was so tiny but had some really good deals going on. Mom got my brother a long sleeve shirt and I got Brian a really, really nice winter coat. It was really heavy and nice and it was $250 and I paid less than $60 for it. I was feeling like I scored. I am putting it away for christmas for him. They have a nice quilt store there too. I almost got a quilt for my mom but then she said she really didn't want it ( I think she just didn't want me to spend the money). Of course we got our fudge and then we went into the coach store. They had all their purses on clearance for 50% off, which was still a lot of money. I think if Brian would have been there, though, he would have talked me into a purse because later when I told him about it, he seemed to think we missed out by not buying one, lol! Wonder if I can drag him in there in June???
There was also a store called Harry and David and mmmmm they have some yummy treats in there. They had a lot of free samples too. One thing we tried was chocolate cherries. They taste a lot like a regular chocolate covered cherry but they aren't gooey or anything. I blew some cash in there as the chocolate cherries were $15 for a small bag and I got the kids some other things too. I'd like to have gotten a few things for their stockings but they were right there and I couldn't ditch them. Here is a couple pics of the mall:

We ended up eating lunch at the mall and then shopping for longer. Finally we decided to head back to the condo and the plan was to do Ripley's and then eat at Joe's. So we went back and got Brian and we turned around and went right back down to the strip. Ripley's was running a special: buy one adult, get one half price and then we also had a coupon for the other three to get $1.50 off their admissions. So pricewise it wasn't too bad. However, I was a tad bit disappointed in this Ripley's. I remembered the one in Colorado being a lot more interesting. Maybe it's just because I'm not 10 years old, LOL!!! The kids really enjoyed it and I couldn't drag Brian out of there! There were some really interesting things and it was a nice way to pass the time. Unfortunately, Brian had the camera in his pocket and didn't take any pics, so when I finally got it back from him, I took a few. This is a robot made completely out of bic razors: This thing carved out of Jade: Giant ball of Twine: D with the Tallest guy: After we finished our time at the Museum of oddities, we headed back over to Branson Landing to eat at Joe's. Now it was starting to get pretty chilly, so no playing on the play ground. We got our menu's and man, everything looked good!!! Hannah and D decided to share a hot pot for one and Brian and I got the hot pot for two and mom ordered some fish. They came out and brought us some bibs but Hannah was a spoil sport and ripped hers off and wanted us to take ours off but we refused. Apparently we were embarrassing her, LOL!! We enjoyed our meal so much but poor Mom, her fish was dry and even with tartar sauce she couldn't choke it down, so we told the waitress and we didnt' have to pay for it but she was really disappointed because she loves seafood. After we ate we started back to our car. They had added a few things for the holidays. But Hannah wanted a Fro Yo!!! It was absolutely frigid outside but we all went over to this frozen yogurt place. I can't remember the name of it except that it had the word "Orange" in it and it wasn't orange julius. You were given a sample cup and you could help yourself to any of the yogurts to try. Then once you selected your choice, you got a big cup, filled it and then you could help yourself to the toppings bar. They sell it by weight so it ended up costing us $18 for four yogurts. I had pumpkin pie with reese's pb cups on top. Hannah had coconut with pineapple and choc chips and Brian had some kind of weird concoction that sounded like it should have been gross but wasn't and D had vanilla with cookies. Mom was too cold to eat more than her sample cup. As we were walking down the mall ( and freezing our booties off) we heard the music and we came upon the water show only now it had fire!! It was soooo awesome. The do it every half hour in the evenings and we missed most of it but what we saw was great and the fire was warming me up too. So then we hopped on the trolley and took it back to the parking lot and headed home to start up the fire, make some s'mores and drink some hot cocoa with marshmallows!!! Watched some TV and then headed to bed. Tomorrow is our last day:(
