So off we went to find something to eat and I have to say, the park maps are not the easiest to read. We thought we were headed in the right direction several times only to find out we weren't. LOL

Anyway, on the way to the food we passed by the penguins and you remember how much Robbie loves penguins so into the penguin exhibit we went. It was smelly in here-stinky penguins-LOL and you saw puffins first and then around the corner to the penguins. The penguins exhibit had a moving sidewalk where you just stood there and passed by the big window of the exhibit. Penguin viewing for the tired and we enjoyed that.

Oh I am loving your Sea World TR. I think it sounds like so much fun. The more you talk about it, the more I want to go there.

I love those "seaweed" seahorses! We used to have some of them here at our Children's zoo but they got rid of them:( The daddy seahorses carry the babies and I'm all about the males having to do that part!

I'd totally do the Pick a Pearl there! Was it comparable in price to disney? Very cool. I can see why you were so tired - especially after having a hard time finding your way around.

Last night, D was telling me "Mom, did you know some people believe that a big bird brings babies wrapped in blankets? Those birds aren't even real!" So I had to tell him that while the story part was not real, those birds were real, LOL. For some reason I thought you had picks of a stork in your TR, but then I realized that you had pelicans, not storks:D Those little white birds that were stealing your pizza look like mini storks.

We loved Sea World. It has a totally different feel than any of the Disney parks-no rushed feeling-very laid back and relaxed feeling. It was a clean and pretty park, people were friendly, CM's (or whatever they are there lol) were friendly and helpful, all in all a very enjoyable change from the frenzy of Disney. There are only a couple of real rides there so people are there for the shows and the aquariums and animal exhibits so there isn't that "I have to get there!!" feeling from Disney (and probably Universal). It was perfect for us for that last full day when we were just beat down physically. We only saw about 1/3 of the park so we definately want to go back and that's why I am trying to pull together a Spring Break trip. There is soooo much more we want to see and do there I really hope we make it back. :)

The pick-a-pearl was right about the same as Disney- $15.99 I think. I had read that it was equivalent to Disney's price but with more to it so I was glad we made it there to try it out-it was fun. :) I had extra pearl cages so we did one for Robbies teacher too and I included all the pics of the area and the diver who picked the pearl. She really enjoyed it.

LOL Those pizza stealing birds DO look like mini storks. :)
