First up - Animal Kingdom. It is morning EMH here. So how did it go? We made it!

NO! Not another cliffhanger!!!

Well, it looks like you had a great time at AK! Yay!!! How awesome on scoring Pochahontas! Your girls look like they are in Heaven over petting those animals.

I really, really like the AK Christmas tree. I love all the different animal ornaments. What a neat way to decorate it. I am loving all the different decorations. I would absolutely LOVE to have those decorations. I'm sure they probably sell them but man, how gorgeous.

I'm glad you liked Tusker House. It was my absolute favorite breakfast. I'd love to eat there every week :)

The only disappointment seems to be no EE. Did you make it over to Primevil Whirl? And what did you guys do for lunch? The day we were there, we were so full from breakfast that we skipped lunch and opted for a Mickey bar instead and then we did Rainforest Cafe.

OK, I am ready for the next installment;)

Well, it does seem like you got to do a lot of stuff at AK, so that's pretty darn awesome. Hannah wasn't excited to do the trails but then ended up liking them quite a lot. Donovan picked up the bird guide and they enjoyed looking for the different birds. If we went back, we'd do Khali river and EE. Although Hannah says she doesn't like rides anymore. :(

The M&Ms did the bird chart too.

Me either. I was really hot when we were there and it was probably in the high 80's that day. I was OK until Hannah dragged me over to see if there were any FP's left for Khali and we had to hustle to make it back to EE before the boys got off because we were trying to make it to the parade. I was sweating my booty off! Our last day, it was in the 90's and we were at DHS and it was horrible. I was actually glad to be leaving.

YAY! Sounds like you guys had a great time. Man, I can see your guys really enjoying all of AK. I can see them really loving the "other side" with Nemo and the Dinos and Primevil Whirl. Oh yea, and as much as they loved the Pangani Trail I am sure they would love

Well, having been there in both June and July I have to say that EMK's are the key to hot weather visits. Hit the parks early, get out and go inside or to the pool, and then head back when the sun has set. It's the only way to survive it.

We didn't do the Maharaja Jungle Trek- so we'll have to do that one next time. Mom and I went to Disney in Mid August. It was hot, but it wasn't horrible most of the time. I do remember one day being absolutely miserable because of the humidity and just soaked in sweat but otherwise it didn't really bother us too bad. There was only one day when we left the park and it was AK that we left because it started pouring so we went back to the hotel and took a nap.
