Magic Kingdom - here we come! - Chapter 8

At first the girls didn't stir a lot when I went to wake them up. No one sleeps this much at home - but the weather was humid, we all had the sniffles - and we woke up early. But it's vacation, we can sleep when we get home. Too bad I'm trapped in a family that does not feel the same way.

Thankfully I used the magic words "Magic Kingdom" and the girls popped up quicker. They were ready for some magic tonight. . . .

I do not run. I am too old, fat and tired to run. So when we got to the dock, I was left behind. . .. . .

No biggie. . . you know who has everyone's ticket right? ;)

We had dinner ADRs at Tony's. Yum. I was worried when we checked in at Tony's. There were people everywhere. I mean they were sitting on the floor in the waiting room area as it was sooo packed. We walked around and shopped some, then the CM turned on cartoons in the waiting area - so I moved the girls that way. They could see the cartoons, but it was too loud in there to hear them. This was the longest we waited for any ADR - and it was a long wait.

Finally we were seated - near the fountain, which was dressed up for Christmas.

So. . . .no pics of dinner still due to John's tantrum the other night. We ordered the fried zuchinni & the bruschetta for appetizers to all share. Then the girls ordered spaghetti.

Even though you had a long wait for dinner, it sounds like you had a really wonderful night, got to do and see a lot and it sounds pretty magical!

Your girls are too funny, I love all their crazy faces- Donovan is just like that! The pic of John on the dock with the girls holding his hands is too sweet. And how pretty is that Mickey wreath? I love it. I wish some professional decorater would come over to my house with all those pretty decorations! I'll probably never make it to Disney at the holidays, so I am going to soak up all the pics you are sharing and enjoy the heck out of them. Plus hopefully Tawnya and Max will have some to share as well.

My kids loved the laugh floor too and even Brian really got a kick out of it. Hannah was scared to go on Buzz at first but after D and I rode it and told

What a great night (minus the Tony's wait)! You had a great day-AK in the AM, rest, and then a great MK evening. Sounds just about perfect to me. :) BTW-love the girls poses. Hehehe

I don't feel crowded when I get in, but the M&Ms are little.

OMG, your dd is taking after her Daddy, isn’t he? First he runs off with Ariel, and then dd flirts with the waitress for cheesecake! That Lady and Tramp on the plate is way cool! It looks just LIKE them! Looks like Tony’s is a sure-fire hit with your crew!

How cool, even though you missed the street parade, they look like they had SO much fun on the rides! And I have NEVER gotten to see the whole water parade, how lucky … and cool!

In peace,

Hi, Tawnya, I myself didn't feel crowded in the Indy cars (but then again, I had a car to myself) -- the hardest part for me is getting up afterwards, the seats are quite low to the ground, it's hard on my knees. It's almost as low as the seats on Small World.

In peace,
Max
