OK, I figured we are half way through the year and we keep dredging up the old 4th quarter Disney folder so I thought I'd start one of this year. ;) We can use this for Disney and the other for all other vacas then we have the cruise one too.

Well, I am game for a Disney meet in June 2013. I think Deb and Max are good too. Anyone else? OK, Emmy hasn't even left Disney from this trip but I can see her being game. Chris too-gives her the perfect reason to return. ;)

I am thinking of booking a dummy date in August and then moving it next August. As long as you don't get the trip insurance you are golden. That would give me from August 2011 to April 18, 2013 to pay it off. I think I can do that. :)

Sounds good, I am game.

Do you normally get the trip insurance?

No, I never get the insurance, well, except I did for the cruise, but shouldn't have. Disney's insurance is waaaay overpriced for what you get (no suprise there huh?) and if you cancel, they keep the insurance money. So, I never get it and wouldn't have with the cruise but it was the 1st time cruising and I didn't know any better-now I know and if I want insurance will buy from an outside source. The DIS and the cruise boards are filled with recomendations for insurance if you want to get some.

Just had to share this link I came across. Disneyland has mermaids swimming in their pool. :)

The swimming mermaids is such a wonderful touch.

When I made the land portion reses at WDW for this trip I must have not looked closely enough to the reses and the insurance was on there (only on the WL portion-not the AKL part). When I cancelled the WL portion to book SOG they kept the insurance and wouldn't refund that. Come to think of it, when I cancelled my DCL rese in 2009 they gave me back the insurance so maybe it is just the land portion? I need to be careful next time I book a land

Wow, I can't believe the WDW doesn't refund the ins.
