Hurricane Sandy

Well, we were mostly spared by the high winds.  We're supposed to get rain for four days straight, but the wind has stopped.  It did keep me awake most of Monday night, though, because I kept imagining one of the two large Spruce trees to fall onto the house .  But all was well.  One tarp blew off the bales and one piece of tin off the barn (it was loose anyway ...).  So overall not too bad.  DD #2 stayed home Tuesday since I twisted my ankle on Saturday and am still limping.  She walked the fence, took small trees off that had fallen and fixed any wires that were broken.  Great help.
