Hi and welcome! I'm sorry you are struggling. How old are your kids? If you find your way to classes or story times, etc. that are age appropriate for your kids, you have the opportunity to meet other moms with kids the same ages as your own. Try going to your local rec dept. and see what classes they have for your kids. Check with a local church for mom's day out type programs. Check the local Y....lots to do there. Libraries are a great resource....they have tons of info on what you can do in your area as well as offering kids programs.

I hope you can find things to do and can meet other moms. How about finding things just for you? Is there something you may be interested in learning? Is there an exercise class you've been wanting to take? If your dh can watch the kids in the evenings, you can find something just for you :) How about a cake decorating class? Book club?

Please let us know how you are doing.....

hi- sorry you are feeling so alone there.. moving is always hard on a family esp when you don't have anyone around you to get together with.. you didn't say how old your kids were and i was wondering if either is 3 or 4 have you considered a preschool program even though you are home?? i put my oldest in at 3 for 2 days a week and that is where i have met some of my best friends.. now my oldest is entering 1st grade but after we drop our younger ones off at preschool, and the older ones are at school we go to each others house once a week and do coffee dates.. how about a mommy and me program?? any activity in which you can enroll your child is great.. you will meet other mommies and if you do it during the day they most likely will be SAHM's as well.. dance, gymnastics, if you have boys and can't do those activities how about going to the local park.. or go online you can look into local playgroups.. i hope you can find somewhere that you can meet other moms and start to make friends where you can get out and have people to vent to, talk to, laugh with etc!! good luck

Hi, am new here too...recently moved. It's hard to leave your home, life, work n everything to be a stay-at-home mom in a new place. But it's nice to be interacting here, I leave feeling positive about myself, listening to you all.
Thanks
