Hi everybody
I am a stay at home mom, who is living away from her family and friends in another country cause my husband works here. I am an engineer and an MBA but am not allowed to work here cause of visa issues. Wives don't get work permit. We pare going to go back home in two years but god I miss working. Having a life. Now its all abt cooking and cleaning and washing. Why did I study so much for this. It's all so monotobous. Day in and day out. My baby is the only good part abt my life. I am frustrated with this house work. Guide me please.

Welcome to the board! Where are you living right now? How long have you been there?

I thought that those first couple of years went by pretty fast, but I have family and friends close by. Have you been able to make any friends yet? Two years out of the workforce shouldn't put you at too much of a disadvantage. Would you be able to tutor students in math and science? If nothing else, it would help fill the gap on your resume. I don't know if you would need a visa for that kind of work, but it might be worth researching. I think there are even some tutoring websites that are always looking for online tutors for students.
