Throwing food off the tray, or removing food from mouth and throwing it on the floor

I haven't been on this board much, and I should check it more often for my own sanity, but I need your help. My 15 month old son is getting 4 molars right now. I know his mouth is in pain and we are giving him motrin to help. He is also getting softer foods and things he likes to help him while he chews. BUT he is throwing everything off the tray and even out of his mouth. It's not so much a pain thing, but a "I can do this, nana nana booboo" thing. He looks right at you and holds it out, then drops it right when you get there to take it away. It's making me really upset. I can't find anything he wants to eat. He also has a dairy allergy, so I really have to hand make everything he eats. It's hard to make all this "from scratch" food to have him toss it off the tray, then cry because he is hungry.

Thanks guys! I am just going to have to be more firm.
