If someone gave you $30,000 and you couldnt use it to pay bills or keep in saving, what would you do with it?

Hmmmmm. I think I would travel, some with the kids and some without. Maybe do a great disney trip and then go to Hawaii with just the two of us.

gosh Lesley... that's a toughie. Whenever I think "wouldn't it be nice to have money" it's always in reference to paying off debts, buy a larger house, buying a second vehicle, or helping family members out with their debts.

ok so fun money... hmmm...

well I need new clothes... I haven't bought myself new clothes in about 2 years (other than maternity), so I would throw everything out... shoes and all, and start over. I would also like to put in a second section of cabinets in my kitchen. I don't even have a headboard on my bed, so I would want a new bed, and Brayden needs a dresser and a frame for his bed when he gets out of the baby bed. We also desperately need a new couch & chair.

I guess it's hard to think "fun" when there are so many other things that we need around here LOL

My initial thought on this was to bury it. Since I would need that money to pay off some bills-what else could I possibly use it for....Then it came to me...I'd invest it in the stock market...Diversify it, and keep my fingers crossed! =)

I think I'd get new couches first. THen I'd go on a trip somewhere, maybe a nice resort in Mexico, or the Philippines. I'd also get new clothes for all of us. There still would be lots of money leftover, so I'd do some renos in the house...like a new kitchen counters and stuff. Oohh, I also want to redo our master bathroom. there you go, great, now I owe money lol.

I would get each of my kiddos a whole new wardrobe and give them "dream bedrooms"! Then I would build 'em a new playground in the back yard and enroll each of 'em in some activity that we could never afford for them to do! I'd probably give me husband some play money too!
