When I turned on the news last night, I caught the end of something and I think Abercrombie was forced to stop selling it.

I don't buy bikinis for either of my girls anyway so I would never buy this one. I don't think its appropriate for little girls. Kids don't need to grow up so fast! I want them to enjoy their childhood for as long as possible.

I feel like it sends the message to little girls that their body is not okay as it is. That in order to be pretty or fahsionable they should look older and more developed. We deal with that enough when we get to be teens and adult women, let little girls be little girls!

I also saw this yesterday. Your title says everything. My DD will be 8 in August & she's going to get her regular swimsuits like she always does, from The Children's Place. I don't shop much at Abercrombie because I think it's over-priced junk. Is there anyone ANYWHERE who would buy those suits for their kids? & if so WHY?
